How do I pair the ZAGGfolio keyboard to my iPad 2?

On the iPad 2, select SETTINGS > GENERAL > BLUETOOTH
ON ZAGGfolio keyboard, slide the POWER button “ON” and press the Bluetooth button.
The “Status” light will flash on ZAGGfolio keyboard and the iPad 2 will display “ZAGG keyboard” as an ‘available device.’
Select “ZAGG keyboard” on the iPad 2; the iPad 2 will display a unique code.
Type the unique code on ZAGGfolio keyboard and press ENTER. ZAGGfolio keyboard will now be paired to your iPad 2.

Do I have to pair my ZAGGfolio keyboard to my iPad 2 every time I want to use it?

No, just the first time.

Can I pair my ZAGGfolio keyboard to more than one iPad 2?

The ZAGGfolio keyboard will only pair to one device at a time to prevent the ZAGGfolio from inadvertently controlling 2 or more devices at once. However, the pairing process is so simple, switching from one iPad 2 or any other Bluetooth capable device is very quick.

Is the ZAGGfolio made of carbon fiber?

The outer polyurethane case was created with a stylish carbon fiber design and a durable microfiber lining.

What do the lights mean on the ZAGGfolio keyboard?

Charging light: Turns on when charging, turns off when fully charged.

Status light: Flashes when the battery is low (about 20% capacity), when pairing, and lights briefly when you turn on ZAGGfolio keyboard then turns off to save battery.

What do the top row of keys do on the keyboard?

Home – Brings you to the iPad 2 home screen
Search – Brings up the iPad 2 search screen
Slideshow – Starts playing slideshow of saved pictures
Virtual keyboard – Allows you to hide or show iPad 2 on-screen keyboard
Lock – makes the iPad 2 screen go dark and come back when pressed again
International Keyboard – Toggles between international keyboards
Other function keys: Cut, Copy, Paste, Undo, Redo
Music function keys: Previous track, Play/Pause, Next track, Mute, Volume down, Volume up

How do you charge the ZAGGfolio keyboard?

Included with your ZAGGfolio iPad Case is a mini USB cable. You can plug this into a standard USB charger, such as your iPad 2 wall charger or a computer USB port. Simply slide the iPad 2 out of the ZAGGfolio iPad Case (about an inch) to expose the charging port on the iPad 2.

How often does the ZAGGfolio keyboard need to be charged?

ZAGGfolio iPad Case’s long-life battery can stay charged for several weeks of normal use between charges. When not in use, turn off the keyboard to lengthen battery life. ZAGGfolio iPad Case will go into sleep mode if left on and not being used; press a key and wait 2-3 seconds to bring it out of sleep mode.
